Our Lifting Solutions Group, which includes CERTEX, drives the development of Powertex and Ropetex. Hugo Gerrets, Head of Private Label at Lifting Solutions, highlights the close dialogue with customers and distributors as a crucial factor for ensuring that the products are continuously developed in line with customer expectations.
Hugo explains, “We are very close to our customers and work closely with our distributors. This allows us to gather feedback and translate it into improvements quickly. We prioritize essential features and avoid unnecessary extras, making our products both cost-effective and reliable".

– “Our control over the entire process is one of our greatest strengths. It allows us to be consistent in quality while developing smart solutions, such as our QR codes that give instant access to user manuals or the use of recycled materials,” Hugo observes.
Focus on sustainability
An important driving force is sustainability. Powertex is at the forefront – for example, with r-PET products made from recycled materials. The range includes lifting equipment, web lashings, and fall protection.
“We were the first in our industry to have products in r-PET, which we are very proud of. It helps our customers achieve their environmental goals without compromising on safety,” Hugo reveals.
Social responsibility is integral to our approach. By conducting dedicated sustainability audits with suppliers, we aim for production that respects the environment and working conditions.
Constantly moving forward
Powertex and Ropetex are continuously evolving. Every year, new products are launched that complement the range and meet customer needs. In 2023, for example, a new series of G10 chain components was introduced, and in 2024, the range was expanded within both fall protection blocks and lifting points.
“We always have new projects underway. Although I can't reveal exactly what's coming right now, our customers can expect more new products in the future,” Hugo comments.
