Positioning rope
Positioning ropes for fall protection
Positioning ropes are used as part of personal protection (PPE) equipment when you need to work safely in a fixed position – typically at height or close to an edge. The purpose is not necessarily to prevent a fall, but to keep you secured and prevent you from moving into an area where there is a risk of falling.
What does a positioning line consist of?
A positioning line usually consists of a strong line (rope, webbing, or wire) with hooks or karabiners at the ends. It is attached to the user’s fall arrest harness and to an approved anchorage point. When the lanyard is correctly adjusted, you can work hands-free while it keeps you stable and in the desired working position.
We offer different models of positioning lines.
