You feel like part of the team when you start as a student assistant at CERTEX Danmark A/S – with responsibility and exciting tasks from day one!

Meet Jonas Harbo – from student assistant to permanent Project Manager

Jonas started as an engineering student in our Innovation and Solutions Center in Middelfart. while studying for a master's degree in Technology-Based Business Development at Aarhus University BSS in Herning.

Before that, Jonas completed two projects with us and was subsequently offered a position as a student assistant at our office in Middelfart.

As a student assistant, Jonas worked on both new product development and more traditional engineering tasks, such as calculations and technical drawings.

“The best thing about the job is that even though you are only employed as a student assistant, you still feel like a valued colleague with a lot of responsibility. A lot was done to ensure that as a student assistant you always had exciting tasks to do. In addition, the office has a really good atmosphere where you can always get help,” says Jonas.

He also felt that the job allowed him to use his knowledge from the study in practice:

“I also think it is super cool to have the opportunity to simultaneously apply what you learn during the study in the tasks you get at CERTEX Danmark A/S.”

Jonas benefited greatly from his time as a student assistant, where he could apply his bachelor's knowledge as a mechanical engineer while also testing what he learned in his master's.

“Everyone should go out to a company during their education – it just gives you so much extra,” says Jonas.

After his time as a student assistant, Jonas has become a permanent employee at CERTEX Danmark A/S. Today he works as a Project Manager in our Solution Center – and his story is a good example of how a student job with us can develop into an exciting career.
