Training in user inspections of lifting equipment and cranes

Your safety – your responsibility

User inspections of technical equipment

Learn how to conduct user inspections and help prevent accidents and injuries. This course gives employees practical, relevant guidance on how to inspect work equipment correctly, in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. They will learn what to look for during daily, weekly and monthly inspections, how to assess when equipment should be taken out of service, and how to record faults and damage.

The course also focuses on employees’ responsibilities and obligations when using lifting equipment and cranes - from putting equipment into service to carrying out ongoing checks. With a clearer understanding of what to inspect and when equipment must be taken out of service, employees can respond promptly to potential issues. The course turns knowledge into action and promotes the safe, responsible use of work equipment.

User inspections do not replace mandatory inspections required by The Danish Working Environment Authority.
They are a supplement that helps users monitor the condition of equipment between statutory inspections.
