In addition to his main role as blacksmith and quality inspector, he helps with many other tasks, such as assembling new custom-made products, load testing, marking new products, and much more.
Meet Kasper Simonsen – our blacksmith and quality inspector
As a trained blacksmith, Kasper produces prototypes of lifting tools and other custom-made lifting products in close collaboration with our engineers. He also modifies and optimizes existing lifting tools that customers send in.
It is no coincidence that Kasper has also become involved in quality inspection. He works according to the motto; "Measure twice and cut once. I would rather measure one more time and be sure before I send a product out”, Kasper says seriously.
In his daily work as a quality inspector, Kasper helps ensure that our special products and lifting solutions meet the high standards our customers expect. Even a single millimeter can be the difference between a tool passing inspection and not. That is why this job requires responsibility, thoroughness, and a natural sense of perfection.
This very sense of detail is what characterizes Kasper – both at work and in his spare time. When he is off duty, he is an enthusiastic amateur photographer. It is not only an eye for a good subject that drives him, but also an interest in the technology behind the equipment he uses for his hobby.
