Tailor-made crane solutions for Hydraflex A/S' new factory
In connection with the construction of Hydraflex A/S' new factory headquarters, CERTEX Danmark A/S, in collaboration with general contractor Fredborg A/S, has delivered crane solutions for the company's cutting, processing and assembly halls.
The cranes are to ensure efficient and safe internal handling of workpieces and components throughout the entire production flow - from raw material to fully assembled hydraulic cylinders.

In close cooperation between the three parties, Fredborg A/S, Hydraflex A/S and CERTEX Danmark A/S, a total of five overhead cranes were selected:
- Four single-girder overhead cranes, each with a WLL of 3.2 tonnes and a span of 24 m and 29 m, respectively
- One single-girder overhead crane with a WLL of 5 tonnes and a span of 29 m.
The cranes are mounted on existing crane tracks. They are equipped with hoists with frequency-controlled movements and radio control, which ensures a soft start and stop. This means they match both the geometry of the building and the practical needs in the cutting, processing and assembly halls.
With the new crane systems, Hydraflex A/S will have a flexible and future-proof lifting and transport solution that supports a safe workplace, optimizes workflows and contributes to higher production capacity. CERTEX Danmark A/S has, in close dialogue with Fredborg A/S and Hydraflex A/S, adapted the crane solutions to the building's layout, the production processes and the specific requirements for lifting capacity, reach and ergonomics for the operators..
