As a nationwide company, we naturally have warehouses across the country, and our main warehouse is in Vojens. This is where you'll find Mona Christensen — usually in the goods dispatch department.

Meet our warehouse and logistics employee, Mona Christensen

Mona originally trained as a machinist, and she previously worked in the wind turbine industry. However, she found it too monotonous, so one day she decided it was time for something new. That new path became warehouse and logistics work here with us.

Day to day, Mona is permanently assigned to dispatch, where she helps ensure, goods are handled and shipped efficiently and correctly. When needed, she is also happy to help in receiving goods, where her broad experience is a major advantage.

”Sometimes you have to be a little creative here” says Mona. ”Because our product range is as broad as it is, you occasionally have to be a bit inventive to make a shipment meet both the customer's requirements and what is physically possible. But it always works out,” Mona adds with a big smile.

With more than 20 years of experience in the warehouse at CERTEX Danmark A/S, Mona has built up solid knowledge of the product range and all the functions involved in warehouse and logistics work. She is also a good mentor and teacher for our warehouse and logistics apprentices, of whom we always have two. Mona also takes interns under her wing when they visit us. She has the calmness and overview needed to pass on her knowledge in a busy everyday environment.

”The best thing about my job is the variety. Of course, there is a fair amount of physical work in a warehouse. Still, in a lifting equipment company like ours, we naturally have the best lifting solutions available, such as cranes and vacuum lifters. Otherwise, the job involves quite a lot of computer work. I would almost say that half — if not more — of a working day is spent in front of a screen”, Mona explains. 

”The very best part of my role is interacting with other people. I need to have people around me; otherwise, I don't thrive — and I have that in this role,” says Mona.

As if Mona doesn't get enough exercise during her workday, she is also an enthusiastic hiker in her spare time. She easily walks 20–30 km at a pace that the rest of us would almost describe as a light jog. "That's when I really relax and feel alive”, Mona says happily.

Mona is known for her gentle nature and helpfulness when colleagues come to her.
