Work safely - with steel wire rope

As a daily user of steel wire rope, it is the user's duty to make sure that the wire (and other lifting equipment) is in proper condition before use every day. This is done by a visual inspection of the wire rope.

But what should you look for?

A steel wire rope can get many different types of damages or wear which makes it unsuitable for safe use.
