Universal lifting tool for wind turbine blades
Wind turbine blades can be lifted and moved using this specially designed lifting tool which we call the CTX Blade Gripper. The tool is universal and developed by our skilled inhouse engineering and innovation team and it is designed to accommodate different types of wind turbine blades. This means that the tool can be adapted to all 37-72 m blades with a net weight of up to 20 tons in both horizontal orientations – a need that companies in the industry have requested, but which has up until now been impossible to meet in just one tool.
The CTX Blade Gripper has a WLL of 20 tons and is designed to handle the lifting challenges often associated with handling wind turbine blades. The tool makes it possible to carry out a wide range of tasks such as safe and efficient installation of wind turbine blades, carrying out repairs and dismantling. We are proud to offer this unique lifting tool to the wind turbine industry, which has welcomed our CTX Blade Gripper. The tool is already part of the service fleet of several of Northern Europe's leading asset owners.

Our innovation center in Middelfart houses our Danish development and engineering team behind this unique tool, the CTX Blade Gripper, which is now part of our product offering for the wind turbine industry. The tool has been developed in close collaboration with experts from service and installation companies, and our customers, who have helped us identify important functions that accommodate their needs and wishes.
The CTX Blade Gripper is a reliable lifting tool with modular features that enable different blade orientations as well as blade types and sizes. With this tool, you get several tools in one and it can be used for wind turbine blades in connection with transport, mobilization, operation, and maintenance tasks.
